Kids Club newsletter and launch
The Royal Flying Doctor Service wanted to formalise their engagement with a new generation of supporters. I worked with the RFDS to conceptualise and develop a Kid Club model with a postal newsletter and membership collateral. I worked with their Marketing team to develop a Kids Club formula, and evolved the character of Flynn the Flyer as their Kids Club mascot.
I developed Flynn’s tone of voice and character persona, a content strategy and newsletter concept, and wrote all copy. Birthday cards, membership certificates, launch competition and welcome aboard letters were also developed.
I wrote executive positioning papers which reflected the RFDS intent and aims, coordinated a PR and influencer campaign to launch the concept, project managed partnership communications and graphic design. After hosting a staff workshop, I researched and wrote a further strategy was developed to focus on the sustainability of the kids club model. I continue to write Kids Club newsletter copy and interview staff and patients, and young volunteers of the RFDS.
