What a gorgeous cover

Picture book grins for my debut children’s book JETTY JUMPING with Little Hare, an imprint of Hardie Grant Books.

I’m blessed to be in wonderful publishing hands to bring my story of Jetty Jumping to life.

This book was a joy to write and I’ve loved watching it take shape behind the scenes.

I can’t wait to share it with readers soon.

The book will be out in time for sandy beachside or hammock swinging reads, or summer snuggles bedtime story sharing.

So blessed to see my summer story leap with joy and detail thanks to the talented artists Hannah Sommerville and the mighty vision of editor of Alyson O’Brien of Little Hare.

I wrote Jetty Jumping as a homage to summer, a love letter to my own childhood on jetties, and watching my own children grow up with jetty jumping milestones.

For all the kids (and big kids) who love a jetty leap, this books for you!

In the meantime, after such an intense run in Stage 4 lockdown in Melb metro – this book news brings lightness and smiles to summer ahead!

It’s lovely to grin again (even if we are hiding them behind masks).

They really should bottle this new book feeling, it’s something special.
