THE BRIEF

Regional and statewide media management, talent coordination and media copywriting and distribution.

Kids Teaching Kids provides the link between the environment management industry and the greater community. The organisation develops innovative environmental programs and educational material and manages the national Kids Teaching Kids Program, a major state conference events and environmental leadership week.

I’ve coordinated 4 years of regional press activities for Kids Teaching Kids, which involved developing a detailed traditional and digital media strategy, media release and pitch writing, talent management, social media content and engagement, Melbourne Metropolitan pitch launch with AFL women’s footballers and the Deputy Lord Mayor, Ministerial liaison, Melbourne Water and metropolitan, regional, broadcast and specialist media.

The Kids Teaching Kids team has been a sheer joy to work with.

THE OUTCOME

  • Annual media exposure on ABC radio, ABC TV, Ch 9 and 7 News, Herald Sun, The Age, The Australian, The Financial review, The Educator, School News, The Weekly Times, Leader newspapers and other regional press.
