The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is Australia’s leading aero-medical and primary healthcare service and a trusted not-for-profit organisation. Flick us a Flynn is a one-week annual awareness campaign held in mid-May online on social media and through traditional media activities. I have been engaged to deliver copywriting and PR with a fellow event and ambassador engagement consultant for three years.
We designed the campaign to increase the awareness of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, foster connection with new donors of the millennial (18 – 32-year old’s) demographic, raise funds through one-off donations and to grow the support base of RFDS Victoria.
Flick us a Flynn focusses on the unique brand connection with the Australian $20 note and build on the aim to use social media to build awareness and encourage support.
From creative conceptus to campaign management I have been involved every step of the way with fellow consultant Fetching Events and Marketing.
I execute website and campaign copywriting, media pitch articles, video scripts and a targeted PR campaign featuring a host of social media savvy Australian ambassadors flicking us ‘a Flynn’ ($20) on their social media sites and media spokespersons providing insight into the organisation’s services.
