The Pandemic Playbook

Member’s and supporters of Writer’s Victoria will be familiar with the seasonal writing magazine The Victorian Writer.

‘The Victorian Writer’ magazine is a valuable resource for Writers Victoria members and aspiring writers across Australia.

as well as in-depth articles on the craft if writing, t also shares new fiction from members.

That’s where I shuffle in. My article My Pandemic Playbook was accepted for the December edition. I submitted this into the “Recovery” themed magazine and was chuffed to discover my article had been accepted.

Writers’ Victoria is a big part of my weekly writing life, and Live Write kept me going as well during lockdowns.

I feel very humbled to be amongst such writing greats in this edition. My piece was a reflection of how my Peninsula Writers’ Club pivoted and stayed connected with one another on-screen.

While the world grappled with an epidemic, we hunkered down and wrote, supported one another and celebrated the small and big writing wins.

I have also recently had a piece Baksheesh published in the twice-yearly fiction zine,  Pendulum Papers.

Here’s to finding the mind space to write while the world was confronted with COVID impacts.

Thanks to Writers’ Victoria and Pendulum Magazine for publishing my recent work.

Cheers,

Andrea
