Summer stories bring with saltwater, suncream and sandcastles
Which is why Hannah Sommerville and I are thrilled to be back with a brand new picture book, Castle Crashing.
You may recognise our characters from Jetty Jumping and Sunday Skating. They’re back again as we share a story of creating sandcastles, self-discovery, start-agains, friendship and forgivemess.
Castle Crashing is a gentle, thoughtful picture book about showing kindness to ourtselves and each other when big feelings threaten to overwhelm us. And uit’s also a story about the collaborative and competitive nature of creating sand castles at the beach.
And to help families and educators enjoy our book event more, we have a few activity sheets to continue the story fun.
