There’s a certain scent in the air when you approach Clunes each March … it’s the smell of books, beautiful books.
And the sound? The air is filled with the soft riffle of pages, the gasps, laughs, and tissue sniffling as storytellers share, and the exclamation over long scoured for books finally found, or literary legends scrawling signatures.
If you haven’t been to Clunes Booktown Festival you really must … It’s one of my favourite literary festivals, a small-town book-loving hug of a weekend.
This year I’m thrilled to be chairing a chat that’s close to my heart this year, Coming of Age with talented authors Sofie Laguna, Shivaun Plozza and Sharon Postlewhite.
Hope you can join us! Book your tickets here.
