Come story time with me
Super excited to be in store at my lovely local bookstore Antipodes Bookshop as the winner of the Children’s Book Council of Australia Picture Book of the year – Early Childhood.
This event had been scheduled to initially launch Book Week joy, but Australia was still waiting on the next shipment of Jetty Jumping.
Well, now it’s here, and our bookstore shenanigans can resume.
Come join us for interactive Jetty Jumping story time fun, book signing and a super special craft session on Wednesday 28th September, 2022 at 11am.
Little readers, big kids, grandparents and mums and dads most welcome:
- Join me on the imaginary bookstore jetty for story time
- Help me tell this award-winning story with some laughs and leaping
- Let’s make our own jetty jumpers to add to our jetty, or take home as bookmarks
- Create your own bravery bracelet to treasure
- Buy a book in-store for a special book signing message from me
The event is free (but please buy a book to support our lovely local bookstore) and tickets are now available.
I’ll be hanging around for author chats and sharing the ‘now famous’ fish and chip wrapper that Jetty Jumping started out on. Come and join the school holiday fun.
